| Junior Golf Programs
Program #1
Kids ages 6 to 17 that are beginners to the intermediate skill level will come to the Thursday afternoon clinic from 12:00pm to 1:30pm. It will consist of swing instruction, rules and etiquette and playing holes at Superior National and the Lutsen Resort short course. This program will go for 6 weeks starting June 17th, ends July 22nd. Each participant will receive a gift. The cost is $50.00.
Program #2
Thursday mornings starting at 11:00am will be the “Junior League”. This is open to boys and girls who have graduated from the junior program to a competitive skill level. Kids who qualify for this league should have played 9-holes on a regulation, par 36 golf course on different occasions. What they shoot for a score is not a factor on whether they can join this league but as an example; they should be able to score an 8 or better regularly from the front tees. Golfers in this league will need to have an understanding of “Pace of Play”, general knowledge of the “Rules of Golf”, practice sportsmanship and etiquette to the golf course and fellow competitors. Ages 11 to 17 can join this league or with the approval of Heath Ekstrom and Greg Leland. It will start with 20 minutes of instruction and then play 9-holes on the “River” or "Mountain" courses. First day of play will be June 17th, ends August 19th. We will be done by 2:00pm. The league cost is $50.00, with green fee options below.
League greens fees for program #2 can be covered two ways.
- Junior memberships pass for $80.00 + tax = $88.70. This pass will cover all weeks of league play and give you "Junior Playing Membership" throughout the season.
- A per time basis of $13.00 + tax = $14.41 (normal junior green fess are $18.00).
